Default Will a 996 Rear rotor fit a Cayman S rear

Regardless of part number, etc., does anyone know if they are the same, including the depth of the hat.

Thanks, Keith

I hear from time to time that the rear rotors for these two applications are interchangeable...

True, the diameters are the same but the rotor hats are not; the 911 hat is a full 8mm taller.

This would cause the rotor to become fully engaged with the backing plate & a portion of the spindle.
Additionally the 996 rotor would not center in the Cayman/Boxster caliper preventing proper pad alignment not to mention the resulting issues with the parking brake.
