SmartyCam / MXL Pista Setup Help
SmartyCam GPS linked to an MXL collects data and video, the GPS recognizes the track but does not produce lap times. It records one session of 8-12 laps (what ever laps I complete for a session) as ONE over all time. When viewed, the GPS data is showing the completed laps, one after the other, on the track map but it's not stoping and starting new lap times at the start/finish, ugh!

I've got a smartycam setup with ecu bridge on my M3. It sounds like you haven't set a fix point on the smartycam. While near the start/finish line go into the lap management menu in the smartycam. Then hit the 'fix' menu item. That should then allow lap time detection. Only problem is that it should be with 2-3 meters of where your car crosses the finish line on the track.

Great, I hope it's that easy. I'll have to wait until I go back now. I was at the track for Sat/Sun PDS and couldn't figure out what the issue was. Thanks for the response shizzle.
At this point is there any way to edit the data I have and insert a S/F (after the fact)?
