Default installing different airbag steering wheel

I have a 99 boxster, which has had the 996 GT3 fiberglass sport bucket seats installed. I needed moore headroom so I lowered the rear of the seat in the side mount (had to redrill). the problem I now have is that the steering wheel is about 3 inches too far. I want to retain the airbag but somehow move the steering wheel back 3 inches. I have a momo airbag steering wheel from a mitsubishi that looks very nice, and gives me multiple surfaces with which to mount to an adapter. the problem thouhgh is that I think all the adapters eliminate the clockspring.

Has anyone mounted one of the german aftermarket RAID/ATIWE steering wheels?

what is the bolt pattern?

I am considering getting the boss for the RAID steering wheel and adapting this wheel to it, or maybe the 997/VW momo adapter with a VW spline adapter will allow me to retain the clockspring.

Has anyone used the MOMO adapter for a 997?
does the clockspring stay in?
