993 cup or RS suspension
Does anyone know if the Bilstein Cup and RS suspension are one in the same and where I might be able to get my hands on a set?

the RS used :
front, Bilstein strut 993.343.041(042).80 w/ a single 246 lb/in spring.
rear Bilstein 993.333.051.80 x2 w/ a single 457 lb/in spring
Not sure what the Cup parts #s are but the GT2 evo race version used
front, non adjustable
993.343.509(510).82 which uses a main spring w/choices from 1485 - 1733 lb/in and tender spring, choices from 1633 lb/in to 1901 lb/in
or
front adjustable w/ remote reservoirs
993.343.021(032).82 same springs as above
and
rear.
993.333.051.82 main spring (choices from 1599 lb/in to 1713 lb/in) w/ tender spring 171 lb/in
or
adjustable w/ remote reservoirs
993.333.055(056).82 same springs as above
or
adjustable w/ remote reservoirs
993.333.175(176).81 same springs as above
All w/ monoballs mounts
JIC or Moton would seem to be the most likely current setups that would emulate the above
I use and like JIC which are adjustable and have springs rates from ~400 to 680 maybe higher I never looked, tenders and monoballs
Not familiar w/ Moton except that they are even more capable.

Thanks for the info Bill. You're a great resource.
I've put on PSS9s for now but I'm looking ahead as one of the cars will eventually see more track than street. I've been getting great feedback regarding Motons...I just don't like the price tag so much.

There is a quantum leap between Bilstein Cup/RS suspension and Motons.
For track use, they are not even close in the hands of someone who has been doing this for awhile and its usually a 2-5 sec/lap difference.
While its not cheap to do Motons and the EVO uprights/tie-rods needed for any low 993, you certainly do get what you pay for.

That's not the first time I hear this and at some point, I'm just going to have to pay up and do the right thing.
Thanks for this and all the great help you've been lending with my power loss issues.
