Default [ HELP ] Headers mufflers 964 ???

Hello everybody,

So sorry for my very bad english.
In fact, I need your help and some information in order to find/buy a full racing exhaust.
I am looking for headers mufflers ...

It's for a 964 C2 which is only use for racing tracks.
So, if you have adress to order them or if you have a complete system exhaust to sell, I am your guy

best regards
Arno

Hi David,

Yes, i have find S CAR GO.
But, their headers are 1"3/4.
And for a 3.6 L engine, it's better to have 1"2/3, until 300/320 hp.
The 1"3/4 is perfect for a 3.8 L engine.

So, I continue to look for.

Anybody have other solutions ?

thanks a lot.

I run 1 3/4 on my 3.6 talk to S-Car-Go. 1 3/4 is right for a 3.6, 3.8 can go to 1 7/8.

For 1"3/4, is it for the inside diameter or outside diameter ?

If it's the outsider, them the inside diameter will be perfect.

Ouside diameter 1"3/4 = inside diameter 1"2/3.

Headers are normal measured from the Outside Diameter (OD). The S-Car-Go are made out of 16ga SS (0.065 wall); so the Inside Diameter (ID) would be for a 1 ¾ header 1.75 – (2 x 0.065 wall) = 1.62” ID

I got to hear a local car with the Fabspeed long tubes and exhaust (full dual setup) and no cats. It is one of the best sounding 911's I've ever heard: very deep, rich, smooth and powerful. I was able to copy a couple pics from Fabspeed's website, but you really nead to hear a car with it installed.

Hi 02 carrera,

I know Fabspeed
Maxpeed, S GO Racing, etc ...
But, it's for me more tuning exhaust ...
Their products are very nice, and the sound is beautiful but, the performance are less good ...

In fact, the inside diameter is not the best for the 964 3.6 L engine, and the size of the headers is not the better for better torque and HP.

In fact, i am very happy to meat Steve WEINER from Rennsportsystem ... this guy is very very good ...
he know what is better for a 964 and he will make the total exhaust for me
with the good size, as I would like ...
Even, the exhasut will be not so beautiful than a fabspeed, but the performance will be better ...

I hope receive early this complete racing exhaust (headers, mufflers, pipe, U, etc...)

best regards
Arno

You can get European Racing Headers from Smart Racing Products.

1 1/2"
1 5/8"
1 3/4"
1 7/8"

Take your pick!

Here's mine. S Car Go 1-3/4" headers with Daytona prototype mufflers. I had the exhaust custom built by the shop that built my roll cage. Chassis Service in Wadsworth, IL. Not sure where we got the mufflers but if you are interested, I can find out on Monday.

I have posted some videos on YouTube. The microphone is mounted just below the dash in the passenger foot well to minimize wind noise.
