Post 930 motor in SC

Hi
I am trying to put a 75 ROW turbo in my SC. I am having trouble identifying a part on the airflow meter. It is on the right side of the airflow meter and has one wire on the end. It is a round cyl. and held on by four screws. The factory manual doesn't speak of it at all.
Thanks Dean

I have an update. I took the airflow meter apart and found that the round thing is a electromechanical solenoid that when energised opens the airflow flapper a little bit. I assume it is for cold running conditions or for when you put the AC on. But I don't know. I also don't know how to power it or how to adj it. Any clues? Anybody?
Thanks Dean
