If it fits a 2004 986 Boxster model number is 3010 I will take it. Shipping to NY zip 11743. 987 bar will not fit the 986. Thanks please let me know.

Best way to ship is wrapped with cardboard and taped up. I don't think UPS could break it!

I would hope not! I'll shoot you a PM; will need to figure out dimensions.

You're correct: this is for a 986 Boxster; it was installed on our 2003.
