This past summer we were able to offer a “Summer Special” after we sourced a quantity of core crests at a reasonable price. That allowed us to pass our good fortune (and the savings) on to the members here. My Daughter and I truly enjoy refinishing these pieces for fellow Porsche enthusiasts.
Since then we’ve been actively looking for additional crests at a reasonable price. After a long search and a flurry of emails we were able to find another quantity of cores at a good price. So in thanks for your kind words and support we’re able to offer a Holiday Special!
We’ve been refinishing crests in brushed nickel plate for the past year and they’ve proven to be very popular. The combination of silver and black compliments nearly every paint scheme and wheel finish combination in the Porsche Palette. The usual price for a refinished crest in brushed nickel plate is $199.99.
The “Holiday Special” is a brushed nickel plate “New” style crest (with outlined PORSCHE lettering at the top) in your choice of three options for $159.99. As always the price includes free shipping (in the US) with a with a OEM Crest gasket and retainers. Shipping outside the US is via International Priority Mail at the actual quoted rate for a small flat rate box as per the USPS.com website. We do not “pad” the shipping rate or add any handling charges.
The crests are pictured below:
Option A – Satin Black enamel and Brushed Nickel Finish with “bare” nickel plate stripes where the red would be on a factory crest. The “bare” stripe pattern in the lower left and upper right quadrants replicate the factory stripe orientation.
Option B – Brushed Nickel Plate “highlights” and Satin Black Enamel “lowlights” overall.
Option C – Satin Black Enamel and Brushed Nickel Finish with “bare” nickel stripes. The stripes in the upper right quadrant are in the factory orientation. The stripe pattern in the lower left quadrant mirrors that in the upper right quadrant for a more symmetrical appearance.

Each piece we refinish is a true custom order for you and your Porsche. We do not have “stock” pieces refinished ahead of time waiting to ship and therefore the time from receipt of payment to shipping is 10 to 15 days. Each of these crests are custom refinished to your order, by us, by hand here in the US!

Each order received for a "Holiday Special" received before January 1, 2015 will qualify the buyer for a custom refinished filled resin crest! These unique pieces are filled with a proprietary marine resin compound, require approximately eight to ten hours of hand sanding, and are then polished to a mirror finish and nickel plated. The winner will have the choice of a red or black resin fill. As always the crest will include a gasket, retainers and shipping. These normally sell for $399.99.
