Porsche LiON Battery. Huge Weight Savings (it weighs under 12 lbs!). I purchased this battery slightly used from Savyboy. Used in my RS for approximately 100 miles. It is in perfect working order. It will save you THIRTY POUNDS off the OE lead acid battery. New from parts department is approximately $3000.

The battery is super powerful and looks virtually new with exception of two small cracks in non-structural part of outer base flanges (see photos). These are easily cracked when installing the battery. Don't know when they occurred but they have no bearing on integrity of shell, fit, or function.

Shipped with original packaging and manual (still in wrapper).

Selling for $1,500 which includes CONUS shipping.

This battery works in any modern 2010+ Porsche car: Boxster/Cayman/911 series. It is "plug and play", remove old battery, install the new one - that's it. There's no ECU programming or other such BS.

The OE LiON exceeds the performance of the OE lead acid in EVERY WAY with one single exception- operation below temps of approx 20f. In those super cold temps it requires a special technique to work, just turn on the headlights for approx 15 seconds and turn them off. That temporary load is enough to cause the battery to generate enough internal heat to then crank the car.
