Anyone seen a new 2017 Panamera at their dealership yet?

I know the P2017 Panameras are stuck at Port in the US. However, does anyone know if they are being delivered in Europe?

Yes, a friend of mine had his SD delivered several weeks ago. My Panamera 4 is built and I am due to pick it up here in the UK on March 1st. Many Porsche Centres here have a couple of Panamera demos each.

Thanks, good to know. My 4s is scheduled for delivery on 4/7 according to my dealer. Does anyone know the estimated miles per gallon on a 4s? Thanks.

The website says 34-35 mpg on the combined cycle (that's UK MPG) but I suspect that real life fuel consumption may be a little thirstier...

P.S. Is that 4th July or 7th April? (Think you may write dates differently in the US?)

That's April 7th. The 34-35 combined mpg UK translates to 28-29 US. That would be amazing. The 2016 Panamera 4s was 21 mpg combined, 26 highway (US).

Yeah, I think that as usual, the actual fuel consumption achieved in real life driving will be somewhat less than that published on the website etc.

Default Black Metallic?

Has anyone actually seen the '17 Black Metallic color in the flesh? Is it similar to my '14 Basalt Black, with the different color metallic flecks embedded? Someone who saw the BM color at a nationwide dealer intro to the car in California said it had a "blue tinge" to the metallic, which would be a major downer for me!

Any eyewitnesses here? Thanks

I saw 2 yesterday. One Jet black metallic, the other standard black. I could see in the sunlight the different flecks you mention but as they said, blue is in there. Dealer introduction event is tomorrow, will try to get good pics of both so you can view.

I was told by my NY dealer that the car should be released in March -- but closer to the end of the month.

I ordered m Turbo a month ago and the GM said it was the Department of Transportstion that is holding the cars at the ports.

He said that they do not like a feature of the matrix led headlights where you can drive with high beams, with the car actively filtering out incoming traffic. Porsche is going car by car and disabling the feature for all U.S. cars.

Thanks for the info but I think this is all still rumors as I was told it was the EPA causing the delays. It is true that the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), a $1,200 option has not been certified by the DOT yet but not all cars came with this option. I picked it because you need it in order to get the Night Vision Assist and hope that the DOT will at some point certify it.

It's an EPA issue and will be cleared up in a few weeks. The cars should be released at around the end of March.
