I have a 2010 4S since new that now has 47,000 miles on it. Had one recall for seatbelt issues, had the computer reprogrammed after it took a fit years ago also replaced the battery under warranty. Everything else has been usual maintenance, tires about 3,000 miles ago. I assume a 2011 is the same car. What I do habitually is have the oil analyzed whenever the oil is changed, this allows me to track any internal issues and so far has proven to be rock solid. My oil consumption is about 1.5 quarts per 5,000 miles.....I, incidentally, use the prescribed 0w40 Mobil 1 which has an enhanced additives package. The maintenance costs are reasonable as I have a local Porsche specialist do the work.

Have also a 2010 P4S (now 66kmiles)
..and:
. had broken coolant pipes
. had broken high pressure fuel pump
. had broken camshaft sprocket bolts
..and some other little details !
But still consider that's by far the best car we ever had !
A good warranty is, ..imo ! ..A MUST !
(Also have a CTT, this after a CS Tit Ed, that we had from new to more than 110 k miles, ..or some kind of "experiences" with this great V8.)
Btw, @Pmichaelis : You should REALLY check (it is a 2 minutes action) if the bolts on the sprocket of your intake camshafts are aluminum (NOT OK) or Steel (fully OK).
The aluminum ones have very high chance to fail, ..and then, it is a REAL GREAT MESS.
My "two" cents : better being pre-emptive ..than reactive !
And Porsche "SHOULD" had done a recall on this, (mine did escape to this recall, why ???). It is called the WC22 campaign.

2011's are very susceptible to the broken camshaft sprocket bolts. Bye engine. Search on the issue, seems very common. I am on the market but decided to look '13+ just because of this issue.
