Lighter, more powerful and design improvements are excellent. The usual putdowns from auto journalists on the existing model (controls and PCM), but those of u s who own and drive Panameras daily know that their criticisms are largely or completely unfounded. Of course, there is always room for improvement and we would be disappointed if Porsche did not make successive models better in every respect. Rear wheel steering is new on the Panamera Turbo (and perhaps an option on other models) as is the front steering, so they are even better dynamically than the current version especially given the 220 pound weight reduction. Not sure if the smoother roof-line will convert S Class and 7 Series folks to the Panamera or for that matter if most but us Porschephiles will notice the difference. The power and torque of the V6 is impressive and I am curious how the two-stage exhaust sounds.

Aesthetically its a definite improvement over the current car. Puts it more in league with the A7 and CLS and all the other competitors out there. Although I must say the AM Rapide seemed to always cut the best shape/line of all the 4 door sedan/coupes out there.

Wonder if they'll ever make the Pajun to compete with BMW and Mercedes for 5 series and E class owners respectively?

Looking really good. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.
