Default Bought my first Porsche...

Always wanted a Porsche and since I was in the market for a 4 door sedan I thought that a turbo is the perfect fit

Traded in my R8 on this beast. Loving it so far!!!

Anyone done any diy mods? Would love to make the bi mode exhaust really loud.

FVD Brombacher makes a nice mid-pipe with no resonator . Sounds sweet with sport exhaust open.

Ok, I've been doing a lot of reading.

I have a couple questions...

Will straight pipes after the cats affect performance negatively? Do turbos need back pressure for optimum operation?

Can I do straight pipes instead of a x pipe or will it sound horrible?

If you're wondering, yes I'm a little crazy

FVD found straight pipes on a turbo netted 12hp & x-pipe lost hp.

Question, can you disable the hold function?

It's been turning on for me on even roads, quite annoying.

The fabspeed x-pipe losses power.
Get the FVD mid pipe.

M&M exhaust co. of Germany.
They tested x-pipe designs on Panno turbos and found they lost power. The straight mid pipe design gained 12 hp &12lb/ft torque.

From M&M and FVD. Well respected German tuners with proven results.

"We decided on a straight pipe design as we found that “X pipe” designs robbed the Panamera® Turbo of power. “X pipe” designs are fine for race cars that are running cat bypass and essentially muffler bypass set ups as they produce back pressure for power. But when you add an “X pipe” to the Panamera Turbo, which has plenty of backpressure from the 600 cell cats and mufflers you find that power is robbed."

The entire “Brombacher” line of exhausts manufactured by M&M Exhaust, GmbH in Germany and has been tested comprehensively for flow rate characteristics, thermal stress, resistance to cracking, and longevity. To further ensure quality, all of our exhaust systems meet the standards of the German independent testing agency TÜV; whose quality standards are among some of the strictest in the world.

Fabspeed, spend $1200.00 on a x-pipe that looses power?
