Default New 2014 Panamera GTS

Got a 2011 Panamera Turbo in late 2010 and enjoyed it tremendously for two years. Loved that car, but my ADD got the better of me so I sold it to get an M6 Gran Coupe last year (September), to try something new and fresh. That is also a terrific car, but different, and I missed the Panamera feel. I drove the refreshed GTS and immediately swapped out the M6, after I found a perfect car for me. I had my dealer trade for it and 18 hours later it was mine. Matches my GT3 - white with dark wheels, alcantara interior and red stitching, carbon trim. What a sound on this car. Highly recommend this car. What a blast.
Here are some pics.

I like the matching cars. GT3 and its bigger brother. I assume there's a reason it sounds like you primarily drive the Panamera GTS with a GT3 in your garage?

The mechanics of having your dealer trade for it interest me. Academically, now, we ended up ordering cars, but how far away was the white Panamera GTS? When I was browsing distant cars, I just assumed I'd buy from the distant dealership directly and either drive the car home or have it shipped.

I don't drive the GT3 every day - use my sedans most days. GT3 at night and weekends (and the occasional days where I skip work )
As for trading for the car, was a nearby dealership, and I found the car as I wanted - it was an impulse deal. Perfect storm of conquest $$, low money factor and trade-in clean of my 9 month-old M6. I have a long-standing great relationship with my dealer - other dealer I have no connection. My dealer gives me great consideration. Win/win.

Also, we have a theme going - this is our Cayenne Turbo...

So - i have a 2010 TT that i wont keep once the extended warrenty runs out next year. How does the TT compare to the GTS ? Miss the punch of the turbos?

Not at all - the GTS is a much more engaging car to drive, in my opinion - it now has 440 naturally aspirated hp. Really a fun transmission - different mapping than my older 2011 PTT. Go drive one - you should be amazed.

In the market for a used Panaamera GTS but trying to decide 2013 versus 2014. I understand their was an update in 2014 with 10hp more and styling changes but prefer the cost of the 2013. What would sway you to get the 2014 over the 2013?

Thanks in advance,
JT

About the only thing would be the surround view cameras that were added to the front and the side mirrors. But that hasn't made me want to exchange my '13 for the '14.

I envy your collection JCBH! Thinking about acquiring some high performance wheels for her like so?
