Exclamation Panamera is up and able to be configured at your local dealership

In their 'fitting lounge'.

Keep in mind (most of you) that this car wasn't created with all of you in mind. The client whom will enjoy this car is the same client who has a Bentley GT or Flying Spur- and goes back and forth also with an S550 or S600.

Likewise it's for someone who cannot justify a 911 for the way they use the car; So having a Porsche Sports Sedan makes sense.

As for the Quatroportte- eh.........no competition.

I can't wait to drive one.

I agree, I can't wait to drive one too, Im sure you know. I will have to walk over to the build room in a minute and see if we have the Panamera stuff yet.
As for the Quattroporte, and the S550-S600. We have a M/B, Mazer and Bentley delaership and I have to admit that I like those cars. While the M/B's aren't GT's cars, and the Porte is more of a Sport Sedan and the Bentelys are well Bentley's, it will be interesting to see how all the cars stack up against eachother

I've driven them all. The NEW Quattroporte is leaps and bounds better. But, I feel better cars are out there. The Bentley GT and Flying Spur - I love. But only the GT drives as nice as it looks. The flying spur doesn't drive as nice- and as far as value; you can't be the S550/600/63 as compared to the Flying Spur.

I've had several clients trade out of the Bentleys back into the Benz.

Enter Panamera- This car will give those folks the uniquness and customization that they're seeking; with the looks and a drive to match.

They'll have a Panamera for themselves and an S550 Designo for their wife.

I must admit the car is growing on me slightly.
I really like the front end and I really like the interior (front and back).
I just can't quite get base the rear part of the side profile and the back end.

My wife wants one. I'm thinking Pan 4S maybe.

The only way I could stomach getting one of these is if Porsche comes up with a Panamera GT2RS version, with the V10 from the CarreraGT, twin turbo's, RWD and moving the engine in back ala the 911 to make the 911 silhouette with the huge rear a necessity to house the engine bay. It will have to make 750+hp/lb-ft and have a rear bench seat for three to fit the whole family in there. Then I might be interested.

Personally, I hope the Panamera is the single biggest failure in Porsche history, and leads ultimately to the replacement of Dr. W.

If the Panamera does this, I'll buy one.
