I actually love the new LC but can't justify it against the diesel RR at about the same price in the US.
Is the 200 the early one that is like a defender? The one Icon "reimagines"?

Also, if you buy a coffee at Mcydees, they include a place to sit.

The 200 series is the current version. I figured there may be some members with an LC parked next to the 911.

Ok, that's what l thought. Are you considering one? I love the vehicle because we have very specific needs of our SUV. Low drive, 7k+ towing capacity, and...diesel. If they offered that here I'd jump on it. As it stands only the RR, GC and GLS offer it, though not the diesel for 2017 yet because of the new EPA testing.

Spent the day looking at them. Will likely place an order tomorrow for a 2017. I'm planning to tow the 991 on our annual escapes from Houston summers.

What's nice about the buying process is the complete lack of options

Yeah that is nice! I currently tow the 991 and a boat with a diesel Grand Cherokee and love the flexibility of the torque and the lack of need to stop to fill up but I'm about to pull the trigger on a RR to fill the niche and make the wife happier. It's crazy how few LCs sell each year(I'm sure the price has a lot to do with it!), but the crazy thing is there are 6! On my small street. It's a great vehicle, I just wish they offered a diesel.

008, just closing the loop. Picked up a new one today in Galveston. They worked a pretty good deal.

Used to own LC and Lexus for many years. Very dependable vehicles. Not the most technology advanced though, but very reliable.
