A 991.2 S is a damn nice place to be while running 11.5 in the 1/4 mile or getting 32mph on the highway whenever you want. It revs as fast as a 991.1 and has power all the way to the red line.
The GT 350 is an absolute bargain for a track/fun car. it sounds great, it feels great and it gets around the track astoundingly well. Two truths. One does not cancel the other.
PS the "R" models of either are available mostly in magazines.

No politics in the technical forums, please. Take it to P&C if you feel the need to vent.

I love the new GT350 engine, if I were buying a new car right now that's probably what I'd get. I just turned 35 though so I'm officially an old person and care more about the experience of exploring the the rev range than the "go fast" of the kids today and their turbos and what-not.

The car that really tempts me is a 360 Spider, I just love how it looks and the wail of the engine. Replacing the engine belts sounds like it sucks though, and I only have a two car garage. Plus I should try to save money for boring adulting things.
