Anyone have a new Golf R??
Thinking about picking up a 2017 and wanted to see what everyone thoughts were on the car. I have not driven it yet. Looking for a daily driver, do it all, fun to drive, good in snow car....
Avid cyclist with one child in a car seat so the hatchback practicality is nice but am a bit concerned it is a bit small coming from full size wagons.

Well -- it's the only USA-spec Golf model made in Germany instead of Mexico so there's that.
Cost be damned; my girlfriends multi-millionaire German cousin who owns an automotive parts company in Germany swears by them and uses one for his and his girlfriend's daily drivers.
...as to the child thing -- try it at a dealer? I think the interior is almost identical to the GTI.
