Default E63 AMG wagon....my pants are wet...

I saw one at a rest stop and what a car. I would have to get rid of the 996 to get one and would hate to part with it, but........... I have owned wagons for years (850 and V70R's) and like them since they are dorky cool. But the E63 is sexy cool and can blow the doors off (I have read) just about any car on the road. Mega power, great looks and utility. Is there a better car than this??!! Anyone on the boards own one?

My parents have a 2014 e63 AMG-S and its f-ing crazy hilarious. Scary fast (sub 4 second 0-60) and the torque is brutal. It's completely awesome. The new body styles look great too...

There were two new ones at the local Benz dealer showroom. Wicked wagon!

Maintenance hog, based on a buddy's experience. It was always, and I mean always like every week or two, in the shop. Gas hog by their own admission. My 997 has been trouble free. I love the idea, but don't think I could make the switch, particularly with the extra money it would take to trade.

Long time ago I had an E55 wagon and then a few years later the E55 (supercharged version). Both bought new, both under warranty, both perfect and zero defect. We had kiddies so they were great. Now kiddy less I am thinking about the E63S. They look great, haul a*s, sleeper and low key wagon appearance, and with AWD more winter capable than my old E55. In the absence of Audi RS6 Wagon in US they are just awesome IMHO.

E63amg is one of the best Autobahn cruisers ever. Very comfortable and smooth between 120-180mph. That's where it feels at home.

My parents have been fine. A couple niggles here and there but no new car is without them anymore...including her 15 C4s.
