Aston Martin vantage GT
This is looking really interesting to me. I always liked them but thought they were for older gentlemen who drive in the countryside. Now that I am a little bit older, I think it is time. I like that it is pretty low tech as far as new cars go. I like the price of around 100k. I am thinking I don't really need another 911. Anyone else find this car interesting?

Don't sell your Porsche until you have driven the AM for a year or so. Then make your decision if one needs to go. I added a DB9 and am glad I held onto all my P cars. Wound up keeping them all, but would let the AM go before any of my longtime held P cars.

It is an utterly beautiful car but based on my extended test drives of a V8 and V12 Vantages they are nowhere near the GT3 or even a GTS in terms of sharpness and body control. Leaving aside the comparison on performance alone AM's are truly rolling automotive art and absolute performance is very good.
Totally different ownership proposition and feeling driving the car.

Personally I don't think you have to be older to enjoy driving the Aston Martin Vantage...I have driven a 2007 (so 4.3L v8) and I loved it - the car handles well, makes a great noise, and is beautiful inside and out.
I think the GT looks like basically the same car with a bit more horsepower and an even more richly appointed interior - you can't go wrong with that
