With various car events scheduled for this weekend, it being a long weekend when some people will be away, and with the potential for a storm, we will NOT be meeting on October 9th. We will have 1 meet this month on October 23rd, and that will be our final meet of the season.
Even with cold windy weather we had a great turn out yesterday. As always its great catching up with our usual crew: Hans M, Frank, Hans J, Dan, Steve 930, Mike S 986, Michael & Susan 991 TTS, Noah, Brianna, Chris and his pal in the new 570, Kevin 981, and Martin. It was also nice meeting some new people Jason, his wife, and daughter with their newly acquired Ferrari Mondial QV, the guy with the BMW 135i (sorry I'm terrible with names), and anyone else I may have missed meeting today.
This was our last meet of the season and I want to thank everyone who came out to our meets this year. I don't always get to "Make the rounds" and chat with everyone at the meets, but its always great to see so many familiar faces attending. I also want to say thanks to all the wives & girlfriends who attended our meets this season. Its nice to have ladies attending, and that seems to be a growing trend over the last 2 years. Finally, thanks to all the ladies who don't attend, but who let you guys come out and meet up with us on Sundays.

Below are a few photos from our end of the season group drive. We couldn't have asked for better weather, a better route, or a better group to join us for the drive. I hope we will get in at least 2 group drives next year. Thanks to Bill and Gail for developing the route and providing separate parking from the restaurant. I also want to thank Richard, Yvette and Tracy for sharing a few photos with us (since my camera died that day). Sorry, I know not all the cars made it into the photos, but hopefully we will have more photos next time.
I hope every one is doing well. I know lots of people are away with Porsche Club events the next 2 weekends and then its Mother's Day, so our first meet of the season will be on May 21st. I will start a new thread for 2017.
