We did a drive earlier this season which was a lot of fun. A few people couldn't make it to our last drive, and several people said they would really like to do it again. So we are going to do another drive. Below are a few quick photos from the last drive.
A date has been chosen, Saturday, October 25, 2014. The rain date will be Sunday, October 26, 2014. We will be driving from North Kingstown, RI to a lunch destination at a local cafe in Pomfret, CT and depending on timing we may also stop at an ice cream shop on the way back. Although, people are certainly free to head back on their own if they wish to. Feel free to bring a friend, spouse, etc as a passenger. This should be a great time with fellow car nuts and some nice less traveled B roads!
Here are some of the details for the drive:
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014
Time: Starting Point at 10:00 AM
Starting Point: Starbucks, 1370 Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown, RI
Departure Time: 10:30 AM
Lunch: The Vanilla Bean Café
Route: The route will take us from North Kingstown, RI to Pomfret, CT where we will stop for lunch. From there we will loop back on another stretch of road back into North Kingstown, RI.
Below is a rough head count for those who confirmed. About one week before the drive we will send emails to those that are definitely going with the route and directions. You are free to bring FRS walkie talkies if you wish to stay in contact with a few cars in the group (but it is not necessary).

Please provide your name, the car you will be driving, an email address where we can send you the driving route/info, and a cell number so we can text or call you with any potential last minute changes.

We need this info so we can forward additional info about the drive, a copy of the route we will use, and contact you if there are any last minute changes. It saves us a lot of time when we can just send out one email to everyone regardless of the forum on which they saw info about the drive, rather than us having to log on at different forums to send PMs to people.

I just want to thank everyone for joining us on the drive. It was the perfect day for a drive with some amazing cars. I'm posting a video that one of our attendees, Richard, took and some other photos Jill took of the event. If anyone else has photos or video, please feel free to post them on this thread.
