    surely, i'll send it later.
the stock exhaust does in fact drone a bit around 18-2800 rpm, but only a little.

Thanks for the response. Sorry for the delay in responding. I think there has to be something wrong with my stock exhaust. It drones at 1800- 2800 rpm so when I am driving around town or on the highway in 5th or 6th gear, there is just a lot of low freq drone. I dont hear anyone complaining about the stock exhaust and they say it has no drone so mine must be messed up inside of the chambers.

I would like a clip of yours if you could send it. My email is ski4mike@gmail.com. I dont really want loud. I just want a good sounding exhaust that does not drive me nuts when I am driving at speed. I should not have to keep it above 3000 rpm to enjoy my car on the highway.

All the aftermarket seem to drone a little. The EP1 has minimal drone but sounds like a dumptruck on start up, it was too much for me in the hospital garage. the speedtech will drone a lot more. The kline sounds pretty good, minimal drone but fitment was an issue for me. I assume they've fixed it. I ended up with a FVD modified stock exhaust. They basically add 200c HJS cats to a stock exhaust. sounds good, only about 20% louder than stock, zero drone. I can email you a clip if you like, but if you want loud, this isn't for you.

I have been reading many of your posts about exhausts for the 997.1 turbo. My stock exhaust in my 2007 997 turbo has a good deal of deep bass drone from about 1800 through to about at least 2800. It sounds like you have the same feeling as I do that no drone is acceptable.

My question for you is if you have tried any exhausts that have no drone? I have been investigating the speedtech 2.5 quiet xpipe and also the europipe ep1. I just want an exhaust that does not drone. Do you have any guidance? Thanks for any advice you have.
