If Porsche & BMW really cared about their customers they'd have installed LSx engines in all of their cars.

I say this as an owner of a fabulous 958 Cayenne turbo and the "all singing, all dancing" E92 M3. Both vehicles are in tip-top shape but I'm the anxious owner of two out-of-warranty German vehicles.

Unfortunately I'd missed it when you put your vehicle up for sale even though I'd read Shanghai Todd's Pelican Parts build in detail. But even then I'd be a reluctant bidder as, after 20 years in Tampa with various convertibles (last being a C5), I'm interested in the coupe.

What I'm interested in learning from you is your experience with a LSx conversion. Did it handle as you'd expected? Was it a reliable and comfortable daily driver? How was the VSR shop for fabrication and service? It's clear that the 915 transmission had a lot of work done, was it as robust as a G5 in your opinion?

    Hi,
Do you by any chance have a convertible top relay for a 1998 Porsche 993 cabriolet (Carerra)? Mine is missing, God knows what happened to it (gremlins?). I don't even know the part number of it so that I can order one, and I have searched online and found nada.
    Thanx much,
    Nigel

That's exactly the piece I need. Now I just need to find $40 more in parts. Guess I could break a couple more things. Hehehe
    Thanks again

DC Auto is a great company and you should have no problem getting it from them.
    Thanks!

Hey, I saw on the forum that you're still parting out that '92 968 Cab. I just so happen need a piece for my '93 Coupe. I just broke the center console piece that holds the "flip top" in place. Basically, the hinge ripped, and now I don't have the storage in the arm console, not that it held much. It doesn't matter the color of the interio, because all I need is the black metal device that holds the top piece to the recessed area. You got it? If so, how much (inc. shipping).
Any help would be appreciated. I just bought the car from a good friend and already I'm messing it up.

    Thanks,
