Default North American production split - lazy question

Lazy because I'm sure that if I searched a little bit harder, I would find this already posted.

How many were produced in total for NA and of these, how many PTS?

Thanks all!

I get confused whether this sheet shows just NA cars or worldwide production.

In either case, it looks like the total production was 2385, with 41 confirmed in paint-to-sample and an estimated 42 paint-to-sample total.

That is just NA. Conventional wisdom is that the split is 50/50 between NA and ROW but I have no confirmation of that.

Wow, in that case it seems like they produced ~5,000 GT4s. Seems like a lot!

For sure. Way more than originally anticipated for sure.

On the other hand, even living in Los Angeles I have only seen one randomly on the road. I have seen more GT3's and even GT3 RS's than GT4's.

I've seen a few GT4s in Sydney, Australia. But only one Boxster Spyder.
The GT4 production seemed to go on as they were happy to meet some amount of demand.
Still a great car no matter how many are out there.

There are like 7 billion people in the world and we are among the roughly 5,000, at most, original year GT4 owners. That's not a lot. Porsche likes to make great cars and money. This is still a pretty exclusive group. We are not corvette owners. They produce 5,000 of those every two months.

There are almost 400 GT4 delivered to Canada, but only about 70 spyders.

Porsche sales are almost equal among China, Europe, and North America. The 918 was a good example with a little over 320 going to NA.

I'd say 5000 is probably correct. I ordered mine in Sydney in March 2016 when they re-opened the order book and I think everyone who wanted one got one. VW group needs lots of cash so I expect it will be the same with the new GT3 (hope so anyway cause I'm on the list). GT and Turbo cars are the highest margin cars Porsche make so they are now a real cashbox for the group.

They did produce more of the GT3 RS than anticipated. In this case I like greed. I'm on the list as well.

This seems like a reasonable assumption based on WW sales, etc., but the MT in the GT4 is the big unknown. It seems as the conventional wisdom is the the MT 991.2 GT3 will have a meaningful higher take rate in NA than in the ROW. So, was the GT4 demand similar for NA and the ROW? I certainly would be curious about the sales data.
