Has anyone run the Rennline EZ Adjust FE13.14?

If I recall this would work with the P11 bucket seats.

Yes, it's Halotron now, not Halon.
I worked in a Data Center where in case of fire we hit a button and the room would be filled with it, pushed the air out, like in the T2 movie.
I've driven two cars to the point where they caught on fire, so I have the following in each car and home, family's cars too;
Buckeye 70256 Halotron Hand Held Fire Extinguisher with Aluminum Valve and Vehicle Bracket, 2.5 lbs Agent Capacity, 4-1/4" Diameter x 6-3/4" Width x 1
There may be one that fits the Porsche bracket, check here;
http://www.buckeyefire.com/halotron/
I like this brand because each size is available with a hose that makes it easier to reach around components to the fire.

Thanks for the point to, d00d. Have an older Porsche one of these might be perfect for...

Hi fellow rennlist members,

I will be receiving the Porsche OEM Extinguisher tomorrow and I need your assistance with the installation.

Can someone kindly take a few pictures of their Porsche OEM Extinguisher GT4 mounting on the sports racing buckets.

I appreciate your assistance.

Thanks

The Porsche extinguisher is not refillable in the the US as it is of European design and no f/e service has equipment to refill or is certified to service this unit. Several stateside companies can supply a serviceable unit. Amex is a well known company providing the below pictured unit along with Buckeye and others. Also available from Girot's Garage. Roll bar mounts (if applicable) are available from: http://fourtreks.com/modular_fire_ex...her_mount.html

If you need to use an extinguisher, as I have, being refillable is not a factor. I ordered the OEM extinguisher as an option on my GT4, Suncoast is selling the kit.

I have the one from rennline available if anyone wants it for half price. I never installed it and I traded in my gt4. Not sure if I can ship the extinguisher though so it's just the bracket.

Quick question- our recently purchased 991.1 GTS came with a fire extinguisher and I regretfully did not spec the gt4 with one.

Could I swap the one from the GTS to the gt4 with ease?

I doubt that the seat rails and their attach points would be different from 991 to 981.

Here are some picts of the extinguisher on my "spare" LWBS...
Looks like installation should be pretty straightforward.

So the holes for the footwell mounts do not exist on NA cars?
