Throttle Body/Plenum from a 991 Carrera S

This has been discussed before a few times and I think that yes, the TB fits, but I'm not sure if people are rigging up the stock 991 S plenum or not. I've read both that the TB makes power on its own, and that it doesn't, but it makes power as part of a larger performance package including the rest of the X51 kit. Hopefully others will fill in the details.
Because adding the TB and Plenum would be such an easy upgrade for those hesitant to modify at all, I think it would be great if someone would dyno before and after with ONLY these modifications, with and without ECU tuning.

Looks like the PCV tube will end up on the other side where the TB attaches, so would have to extend the existing hose, unless doing a VTA modification;

IPD sells an 82mm plenum for the GT4 that has additional benefits of boundary layer control and smoothing the airflow.

+1 on This...I asked BGB a long time about just doing the TB alone as it looks more factory to anyone looking at the engine bay. You have to play with some of the lines. The IPD plenum solves this problem.
I'm really looking forward to seeing results from the 991 GT3 plenum/TB kit from TPC.......that could be really interesting.

I had the GT3 TB and IPD fitted a week ago but won't be testing at the track till early Feb and will be looking for higher speed on the main straight. My garage has done quite a few of these (the mod is relatively inexpensive and a simple job) and said they have to re-set some ranges in the computer as it will otherwise throw faults due to the increased airflow and need for more fuel. Anyway no faults or CEL with the 20 kms I've driven in it and all very civilised. I'm not doing any other mods till I thoroughly track test the results and see how the competition is going. Only other mod has been RSS toe links so a track-focussed set-up.

I have the IPD plenum with 82mm TB too, the CEL came and went.
Yeah, the GT3 Plenum I've heard is coming will be interesting, usually long runners give better low end torque.
