Default GT4 for sale - Carmine red w/LWB

My local dealer is selling my trade in GT4. ~2500 miles. Carmine red with LWBs and navigation, sports chrono. Never tracked. Oil changed and had a normal Blackstone analysis for break in.

I know you guys hate this but I don't know what their selling price is. Just passing along the word - car is no longer in my possession and I have no stake in the sale.

Contact is Bree Phillips at Dean McCrary Porsche in Mobile,Al.

.2 Turbo

I wanted a back seat for my little girl and I wanted to go for something a little different. Every other sports car I've owned (s2k, m3, GT4) have had higher strung NA motors. Wanted some torque for a change of pace. I was sad to see the GT4 go - it's a truly great car.

I was building out a C4S and optioned it to the point where it made more sense to just go nuts and get a Turbo.

^ I had a GR 997.2 Turbo and was a great car. I have a 7 yr old Son and it keeps bugging me that I should go back to a 4-seater again so whole Family could enjoy and take trips. The Turbo is a great car. So well rounded and great in all wheather. It is stupid fast and right after that split second lag it is like a Mule kicked you. It would be nice trading some rawness for refinement- Not a bad thing

Thanks, man. Love hearing that. I'm really excited about taking the family around - my daughter is already a little speed freak.

Put her in a kart and let her learn early, if she's up for it.
She only needs to be 8 years old for SCCA Formula Junior Solo Karting.

I will never let my daughter be into cars. I would need more than a shotgun (more like an arsenal) to fend off the increased number of potential, unsavory suitors when it comes that time...

I tend to think it will cause a reduction in the wrong kind of suitors, when she knows more about cars than they do. Intimidation FTW

The mental picture of my 5 year old doing that is making my day

My wife has decided my daughter is getting a VW Beetle. I'm thinking she can inherit my Land Cruiser, which will be 10 years old by the time - a nice, slow tank.

Really? So car guys (like most of us here) are unsavory characters?

Besides, your avatar says you got rid of the family.

they said my GT4 wasn't a family car, so I sold it and went back to a minivan

My wife didn't care what I bought, just insisted on a 6MT and will demand that our kids know how to drive a stick. They will not learn on my GT4 though. Keeping a '84 Toyota pickup for that task.

Not sold last I checked - still on their lot. They haven't advertised it on their website yet.
