Default Washer Bottle

Hi folks, Just a quick one. Has anyone else had an issue with their washer bottle leaking in the front wing/fender, and making a mess up one side of the car? I have removed the inner wing guard and there is washer fluid everywhere but the bottle seems to be intact.

I have read about this issue a couple of times. It seems to be fairly common. I believe they were saying one of the plastic hoses was leaking not the reservoir.

Take it to the dealer, don't bother. At least that's what I would do. I only fix it myself when out of warranty.

It happened to a bunch of us here at the track with the reservoir full. At first we taught it was break fluid leaking from left front caliper. It is just the reservoir overflowing from the top when full in high g at the track.

Thanks guys. I thought it was brake fluid at first until I could smell washer fluid. It goes in on Tuesday as the rear suspension is squeaking, so I will get them to check it out.

It is only when the reservoir is full during "spirited" driving. Use the washer to lower the level in the reservoir and it is "fixed" :-)

I did have brake fluid leaking from my car. Thought it was washer fluid at first. Looked into it and found the brake fluid reservoir filled to the top. Used a turkey baster to drop the fluid to just below the max line and no more problems.

Fluid overfill. Turkey baster fix here.
