HPDU 1 - Buttonwillow #15 CW on July 22nd, 2016
In conjunction with my partner Jon Miller (IMSA and PWC professional race car driver), we are proud to announce HPDU - High Performance Driving University!
We are hosting our 1st event on July the 22nd at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, with the event capped at 40 cars. Professional drivers and coaches will be on staff and available to all participants, as well as a skid pad and over 7+ hours of OPEN TRACK time!
Due to the “unrestricted” nature of this event, we are requiring track experience. You don’t have to be Mark Webber, but you should be comfortable in an open passing, advanced run group. Here is all that is included:
- 7+ hours of open track, with open passing rules (point-bys always appreciated)
- Wet Skid Pad open for car control exercise
- Extremely limited enrollment (capped at 40 cars)
- Professional coaches on hand with AIM Solo for data coaching and GoPro cameras for video analysis
- Track tour during lunch, led by coaches to look at nuances missed while at speed
- Photos sent to you after the event
- Printed decal with number board
All of our events are self tech. Download our tech sheet and complete it yourself, or bring your car to a qualified prep shop to make sure that it is ready for track duty. Remember that you will be getting more than double the amount of track time (up to 7 hours) at our event, so check everything on your car thoroughly.
Free assigned garage to the first 10 signups ($100 value, 15 more available at cost from the track)
Please visit our website at www.hpdu.org to learn more and register for the event.
We look forward to seeing both the SoCal and NorCal Cayman GT4 groups out at the track next month!

Either way motorsport is not a comfortable environment. We would love to be able to regulate the heat but unfortunately HPDU doesn't own a HAARP system
