I'm not going to catch the folks at the top of the COTA list, but it's fun chasing them on track! Ran a 2:32.72 this weekend on my quest to run 29s on street tires.

COTA, November 13, 2016, 83 degrees F
19" 245/285 RE71Rs on OZ Leggera wheels
Alignment
AP J hooks and Ferodo DS1.11 pads

Mont-Tremblant, stock on RE-71R tires, so close to breaking sub 1:50... if it wasn't for that code brown moment in turn 6... Using track addict app on iphone 5s at the time, sorry for the crappy vid.

There was a lot more in the car, sadly I wasn't able to extract it on that day.

Thanks for sharing from Canada! Look forward to more times in the future. Mont-Tremblant on the board!

I am observing that outfitting the GT4 with RE-71Rs results in some incredibly quick laps. Looks like the #1 mod for those on the leader board.

I just LOVE those tires. They stick and are consistent even when worn out. And the price is hard to beat!

Lap Time: 1:20.355
Tires: 20 " BridgeStone RE71R

Notes: NASA official AMB Transponder time was 1:20.355 (link to NASA results here). But Harry's laptimer thought it was 1:20.40
Clean laps were tough with the slower cars. And I'm embarrassed the fastlap included such a mistake at turn 5. anyway, it is what it is - until 2017...
wow! Man that is sickening fast. I thought 1:26 was quick but holy moly. Well done. I'm glad to see these cars are up for doing business once they are dialed in. As for your alignment, how likely is it for the toe adjustment to spin while being loaded? Did something bend rather than come loose?

i hope you can share your findings on the alignment issue.

yes the tires are good and very consistent; but it is also a function of people who track a lot will go through lots of tires so getting tires that are 60% of OEM price is a savings that adds up.
