Total stock with the Dunlops & perfect conditions & properly motivated by the Vettes & Camaros. I will say this car is great for less experienced drivers like me. I had the confidence to take 1-2 at a faster clip then my GT3 & beat my best time by a second.

Hi, I was in the white group so running in R/W and W/Y. Car is blue. To be honest I don't remember seeing another GT4. I'll be there with Chin in 2 weeks and at the next PDS in July unless the heat gets to me!

Heat won't get you. See you at Chin in two weeks. I have a GT Silver. I think there will be a few more GT4s that weekend.

Looks like a 1.26:21 at Portland International Raceway. Totally stock setup and at the end of the OEM Cup 2s.

Damn this car is fun.

No. I'm up in north Florida. Run with a few Rlisters at NOLA and Daytona with my GR #981.

My brother tossed on a set of Hoosiers and everything else was stock, including the alignment. I was in car riding along and timing. He was under 2:30 every lap. He will probably be out again this year and I will be sure to get a video. Until then, it does not count. (He races open wheel (Mazda) all over the country.)

Good to know. I also know a few folks that have gone sub 2:30 on hoosiers. I specifically wanted to know if anyone has done it on street tires there. Hoosiers count for quite a bit at cota.

Agreed. I have a track event in 2 weeks but I only have 700 miles on the car. I don't think that I will make 1500. Otherwise I wanted to flog it around dead stock to see what i can do before I make changes.

Black GT4
100% stock, Cup2s, hot as ballz

White GT4
100% stock, Cup2s, still hot as ballz, and dodging "advanced" noobs the whole session.

The similar optimals lead me to believe there is not much difference in the color. So I no longer buy the whole "X" color is fastest =P.

That being said I tried a slightly different sway bar setup on the white one (medium front, full stiff rear) vs the black one (full soft front, full stiff rear). Needless to say I did not like it. Going back to full soft on the front.

I am still confident in cooler temps, clear track, and with slightly more seat time that a 100% stock GT4 is a low 20 car. Low 19s...well I will need to see data on that...
