Is it me or does this car take some time to warm-up?? Warm up to me is oil ~180 F. My 991 GT3 would be warmed up in like 3 miles. I believe it had an electronic thermostat that aided in this but, hence - why some of us had them replaced a couple times but i think they got it straightened out now. I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with my thermostat in my GT4 or is this just typical. It takes twice as long as the 991 GT3 to warm up.

Yeah, they take forever for the oil to get up to ~180. Coolant hits 190s while the oil is still

In regular mode the oil can hit 234F. Put the car in Sport and it will drop to the mid 190s in a few minutes. On track with 70F ambient I've seen 250F. Others are seeing the higher oil temps on track. Appears to be the nature of the engine in the GT4.

^ Not too concerned about the higher oil temps but just surprised how long it takes to warm up compared to the 991 GT3. I believe the 991 GT3 had that new electronic thermostat because I was at 180 F with in 5 m-7 min. -Was a little spoiled

I was surprised how quickly my 991.1 GT3 got up to operating temperature.
