My DRLs were pitted like crazy so I decided to do a light restore on them first instead of buying new ones and I'm pretty happy with the results.

Terrific results. What products did you use for this task?

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and I don't feel like I need to buy replacements at this point.

I had to do quite a bit of sanding since some of the pitting was pretty deep. Luckily the plastic is pretty thick on these housings so you have plenty to work with. I went 500>800>1000>2000 for sanding then did a machine polish with Meguiars M105 and M205. Finished off with some of the UV sealant from one of my leftover headlight restore kits. Hopefully it holds up for now. I may apply a layer of PPF to them eventually but I think they will be fine for the time being since this is my weekend car.

drove through eureka springs this weekend (missed palooza by a week) for a wedding and drove up and down highway 23. I forgot how nice the area is and now im happy that I'm only about 3hrs from hw 23 so planning to go a couple times a year to drive the roads. I put Advan Apex tires on the GT4 and driving home in the rain they performed awesome.

Took my 2016 gt4 with 13k miles in for service-brake fluid flush, engine air filter, cabin air filter. $798. Even though I expected servicing a gt4 to be more, still not used to the increased cost.
