Yeah we run the R7's at Bathurst - they are DOT rated so allowed to run on road reg cars there.. Full slicks like Pirelli DH's are not however. I still find the best full road tyre to be the Trofeo R's, although I haven't tried the latest gen Michelins yet.
There was 4 of the Clubsports at Winton on Friday. Nice bits of kit. Would love a steer of one to see exactly where they make the extra laps times up.

Charlie your car looks amazing with the martini stripes on it and the red wheels really suit it. Looks stunning!

Thought i'd drop a line here to say hi from Melbourne, Aus. Sapphire Blue 981 GT4 I have owned since may and 6 track days later circa 7,000kms i'm really enjoying it!
It's quite a slippery slope but with mates on the same page it's great fun doing days with instruction and getting to know the car and develop my skills.
To date i've only put A052's on with a moderate alignment, pagid rgl 29's, sparco seat and schroth, but i'm waiting on getting camber plates, toe links, dsc, 997.2 calipers, 18" Koyas and A050's fitted this side of December!
Must thank @Charliekay for info and encouragement and wheels!
It's is quite fun adding a few little items here and there to these cars- sure a GT3 of similar age would be out of the box significantly better but i enjoy the process and the challenge to let's call it drive a slower car fast.
Who else here is active in Australia and wants to keep this thread going?
