the real issue is the bumper is really not as flexible as it should be. It's Not the lip..My first GT 4 bumper cracked and I've seen some other posts of having there's crack also.

My solution - scrape up the existing one and have purchased another for when the car will be for sale

So I was all OCD about it scraping coming in and out of the driveway, you know, new car thing.

Latest trip up to the Ozarks, lower part of 123 had new surface and gravel everywhere. SO....

Back of the rear wheels looks like you sandblasted the car. Ok, now I can just relax and drive it and enjoy life.

I can always get a new front spoiler, and at some point have the rear paint fixed. It's just gonna happen with driving a car the way its meant to be driven.

4Carl, thanks for the warning. I scrape 2x leaving the house and usually 1x coming back in. The first few times I cringed, but what am I gonna do? Getting a "stronger" splitter might be moving the problem to the bumper. I'd rather have the issue on the plastic splitter. Need to buy a new one now instead of in 10 years when they are hard to find.

Not a huge deal now that mine is scratched up. Just painful to hear that noise and the feeling of scraping plastic.

+1
and I am ready too - Thank You to the RL Group buy from Luke at Sunset Porsche for the spare GT4 lips at a serious discount last year!

Funny story: I received the 2 spare lips from Sunset before the GT4 showed up. Upon delivery, the transporter racked the lip. Not too bad, but chunked in two symmetrical spots, but I got a freaked out call from my broker taking receipt. He calmed down when I already had two spares!
