Using PIWIS with OBD-USB K+DCan cable possible..?
DISCLAIMER: I am not asking for a source for PIWIS software nor am I hoping for help on finding a free version. I do not know if this is against forum rules, so if it is, please delete. I am simply asking about compatibility of cables and PIWIS software
My question is, is it possible to use a typical K+DCan USB-OBDII cable typical for what you would use with BMW INPA/NCS Expert on a PIWIS program? I am coming from BMW where I have a onestopelectronics K+DCan cable that I've been using with BMW Standard Tools (NCS Expert, INPA, ISTAP/D, etc.) and have been reading up on the possibilities of coding and Porsche. I know the Porsche program dealerships use is PIWIS, and there is an alternative out there (Durametrics) though it is very pricey. Could my INPA cable I used with my M3 be used on PIWIS (assuming I got my hands on a copy) or is there more to it than that?
