Wondering if there are any air-cooled guys in or around Nashville TN who wrench on their own cars and would consider befriending a newbie searching for an SC Targa or cab. I own and wrench on a couple of 70s BMW air cooled motorcycles, and would like to familiarize myself with air cooled Porsches any way I can. I hope to have an SC in my garage this year or next.

There is a local PCA club with a tech day in Feb which I plan on attending (they also host a cars + coffee I believe), but if there's anyone who likes to spend quality time in the garage and wouldn't mind sharing their hard earned knowledge, I'd be interested in meeting.
