Default Reviews on 2003 Targa?

Any Targa owners care to give me a quick review? I'm looking at a 2003, and would like to know what you all think about performance, reliability, etc.
In addition, would also like your opinion on the panoramic roof. I've always leaned towards a cabriolet, but maybe the Targa will give me the open air feel that I'm looking for?
Any feedback or opinions would be appreciated.

I have an 09 Targa. Performance will take a very very minor hit from the heavier glass roof and higher center mass. More moving parts = less reliability over time, it's logical.

I like the Targa because I can have the sunshade open and it "feels" like a cab without it being a cab. A cab has huge blindspots remind you and it's pretty dark in there when the top is up. I also like the hatchback function which no other 911 model has. Makes shopping and golfing so much easier. And all Targas are 4/4s....so that's an added bonus for me.

Good luck.

The 993/996/997 gen Targas have always been harder to sell and have a very small following. The 03 is a nice car. but I would get a coupe or go to a cab if I needed the open top. The glass has a tendency to squeak and rattle (like a cab). I think that when the top is open it isn't a large enough opening. Go Cab.
