There is a hell of a rumor thundering around. Porsche works on a new sports car that will be a direct competitor to Ferrari 458. My oh my, we want it produced and ready as soon as possible. However, nothing is official just of yet. Journalists of Autocar magazine got the hang of some information from Porsche and, reportedly, some of the Porsche officials said “the flat six boxer we are using now is just not powerful enough to be considered as the engine that can compete with the Ferrari 4,5 liter found in 458”. The rumor was strong enough to provoke a real Internet frenzy and some other chaps (not those from Autocar) found a few more information that supposedly confirm the rumor about the new vehicle.
