Default G-Tech Firmware Update

I just updated the FIRMWARE on my G-Tech..

Many are aware of the original...

This little Baby started a revolution... It was simple and accurate, Most important. The Results were able to be duplicated over and over.

Alot of work went into it and then they came out with this...

Updated and full of cool features. This is the one I picked up last year.

Since then there have been two more..

The SS

The RR

The SS has less features than the RR and is alot cheaper...

The SS has even less features than the original black one that I picked up.

Here is the SUPER COOL THING...

I have the old one, but got a firmware update to make it current with ... Not the SS, but the silly expensive RR!

Here is a link for those who have the "Mid Old G-Tech"

http://www.gtechprosupport.com/support/index.htm

I'll post more info soon...

Before the UPDATE. There was a basic mode. Dragstrip Mode

It gave all the regular info like on a Dragstrip.

60Ft
330Ft
1/8th Mi
1000Ft
1/4 Mi

Plus 0-60
Braking Distance
Horse Power
Torque
Engine RPM ETC...

The New Firmware has another mode called "Road Racer"

It gives you the chance to record

Maximum Lateral G
Maximum Acceleration
Maximum Braking Foce
and Peak RPM.

What a sweet upgrade...

Here is Standard Driving Mode...

Here is Road Racer Mode...

This is the level of detail it gives...

I had lent it to my bud Paul to play with, This run is a comparison of our two Cars..

Paul Black Zero PSI
MP5T Red Ten PSI

The HP numbers are low because the car was in motion and the loss to aerodynamic factors is calculated. Basically, the number represents the amount of work (HP) that was needed to move the weight of the car and driver to the G forces over time. It's a real easy concept to understand with some basic math. However, congrats to the guy who busted his ***** to make it work!
