Car belongs in atlanta and was driven from there.. in pouring rain today which was "fun?" On trofeos. For long distance it's a little boomy and echoey inside, tire roar and rocks hitting unlined wheel fenders. But overall, just a nice 911 with a stinking great engine and a manual... the essence of 911.

Just arrived back and it's going for first track day this Saturday. Not mine by the way.

Me too-we went through their display of cars in the Omni Plantation Friday eve as well as another group auctioning off a large group of Porsches...have not heard of any results of these auctions

Btw-this is my third Amelia Concours and my second in a row-I have been to,Pebble Beach severAl times as well. I did not think I could be impressed, again. I was, I was wrong. What they accomplished is amazing. They shifted the Concours from Sunday to Sat-and had all the cars on the field Sat am and Judged by 7;30 am. It was a beautiful day Sat, rain/cold/cloudy Sunday.

In addition to the general Concours, there we sub themes all through the show-cars from Movies, biggest gathering of D Jags ever, the cars of Al Unser, streamlined cars, from daily driver Chrysler Airflows to a record hold Boneville streamliner, and the,significant Japanese cars and racers. Plus the auctions and the P-car Reunion....hate to have to wait another full year, but we will be there..
