Fall Foliage Cruise, bear mtn, NY

I will do this route myself in the future.
I like the idea of doing all of Leg 1 and part of Leg 2 (crossing the bridge and then heading back).
That seems like a great drive.
Was the end of Leg 2, the drive up 218 to West Point a good drive?
Or was it just highway stuff? Wondering if that's worth doing.
Also wondering if the 3rd leg was mostly highway driving.
It looks like I can skip the entire leg to Warwick, right?

Everyone but the first 7 missed the turn for arden Valley Road.
once that occurred, with the lack of two way radios among the group a great deal of separation occurred and we ended up with 3 or 4 groups trying to find our way to the 2nd stop.
the first stop was closed for some reason which I've never encountered. we assume an accident as there was a fire truck that cane out of it.
next year I plan to host a few more than my typical spring and fall cruises. any ideas are more than welcomed. I also discussed with a couple people a track day a limerock. it costs about 17k to rent the track for a day. 34 people cut it down to 500 a person and we'd be the only ones there plus a few instructors. I will work on that on for the foreseeable future.
I hope you at least had some fun, I apologize for all the seperation.

tough to keep a large group together - but, i can understand the many reasons why the route would not be published. missed this one, car's in the shop. I would be interested in a Lime Rock day!

I'm not fully sure what it would include, I'm looking at it with a group of people from another automotive group to see what it would cost for sometime next year. I'd prefer it to be a Friday, I know limerock doesn't run races on Sundays, not sure if they allow track days though.
when I get home I can grab pictures of the route and send them to you, I'm not publicly going to post them as I use the route for spring as well
