Thunderhill DE/Club Race Mar 12-13
Attention Drivers! Less than 2 weeks until the Porsche Club of America's Golden Gate Region’s 2016 track season kicks off at Thunderhill Raceway Park (Willows, CA) with a Driver’s Ed (DE) / PCA Club Race the weekend of March 12-13.
We’ll be running the classic 3-mile configuration including the Cyclone. We'll have everyone from track-day newbies -- registration includes instruction from PCA-GGR's cadre of nationally-certified instructors -- to PCA Club Racers in cup cars, and everything in between.

With an unfavorable forecast looming (Henry said rain all next week with possibility of t-storms over the weekend), what will turnout be like? Have people started cancelling yet?

Turnout will be strong in any case. For those looking to improve their track technique, driving in the rain is a great experience. And if you've never done it, everyone will tell you Thunderhill is the track ... flat, safe, runoffs everywhere. Just bring a few towels and an open mind, and I promise it'll be a rewarding experience and a lot of fun. See you there!
