Default Green Environmental Sticker?

Just took delivery of my Macan S yesterday... Just curious of those who have done is already.... Did you get a green environmental sticker during delivery? It seems it's required in central Stuttgart where I'm staying tonight but I was not provided one..... Thanks!

Yes, an environmental sticker is required in downtown Stuttgart.

If you need it urgently, the best way is to visit a TÜV Service Center (that's where vehicle inspections are done in Germany). They can issue a sticker on the spot for a small fee.

You can find a station close to where you are here:

Also DEKRA should be able to issue a sticker to you:

Edit:
Better link to DEKRA vehicle inspection facitlities:

I asked about this upon delivery, and they explained that your Zoll (tourist) plate is all that is necessary.

I know this is an old thread but can anyone confirm the last statement about a “Zoll” (tourist) plate? Thank you!

We picked up our 2020 Macan S on November 12, 2019 at Zuffenhausen. I saw the "Low Emission Zone" signs in downtown Stuttgart on the way to our hotel across from the main train station. I can't confirm the tourist license plate gives an exemption for the sticker, in-fact there is no such exemption listed on the City's web page Stuttgart City Webpage.
We did not have a sticker and did not receive a citation. Perhaps we got away with it, or there is some unofficial leniency given to a Porsche with the tourist plate? Our delivery specialist did not mention anything about a sticker being required for the environmental the zone, but neither did we ask about it.

It seem the stickers can be purchased from tourist offices and garages for about €10. The fine is listed at €80 so it is probably worth it especially if you plan to travel through other urban areas requiring the sticker.

Here is a picture of the tourist plate.

We picked up our Macan S at Zuffenhausen on 11/12/19. There was no emissions sticker and none was mentioned. I did see the signs requiring the sticker around our hotel across from the main train station. According to the City's web page Stuttgart Emissions Web Page there is no exemption for the tourist plate. We were not cited in the 24 hours we had the car in the city center, but perhaps we just got lucky.

You’re right - we were told by the folks at the European Delivery coordination office that tourist plates don’t require the exemption sticker (we are in Munich right now with our Cayenne). We head into Austria tomorrow after some sightseeing, next I need to figure out where that toll sticker goes . Did you get your car already? When did you drop it off? We are dropping it off in Sindefingen, curious as to time to us in Florida. Heard 4-6 weeks...thanks! -Dom

Do you already have the Austrian Vignette (toll sticker)? If not, and you are on the Autobahn into Austria there will be a booth or service station at the border. You purchase the Austrian Vignette (10 days is the shortest) and place it on the windshield. AT Vignette Directions. If you cross into Austria on a surface road the Vignette is not required until you enter an Autobahn. You should be able to get the Vignette sticker at any gas station.

AT Vignette Location

We dropped off on 11/20/19 in Leipzig. On 12/11/19 PCNA gave my dealership SA a ship name with a departure date of 12/16/19 from Emden. The information was wrong and that ship never went to Emden. I have not been able to get any information from PCNA European Delivery since 12/11, must be the holidays. Still no confirmed ship and as far as I can tell our Macan is still in Germany at the port in Emden.

According to the shipping schedules, shipment to the west coast (San Diego) once the car leaves Emden will take 4-5 weeks and then I expect another 1-2 weeks to get to our dealership in Riverside CA. I am not expecting the car before mid-February (10-11 weeks total). I was told 6-10 weeks from drop-off so it’s not too far off. Again I think there may be some Christmas time-off delays involved.

Ship time from Emden to Jacksonville FL looks like about 2 weeks. 4 weeks from drop-off to FL sounds optimistic, 6 weeks seems more likely.

Austrian toll sticker goes right underneath the rearview mirror, that's where the policemen like to see it. It's indicated on the back of the sticker btw...

And as for the green German sticker, it is required but most of the policemen won't bother a brand new car with export plates.

Default Update on Shipping

Sorry for all of the duplicate posts. Being a brand new user, it seems my posts were going for moderator approval and I did not realize it. I kept trying the same post thinking it was a computer or network problem on my end. Several duplicates appear to have queued up then they were all posted at once. Since I can't delete them at this point I edited out the text and photo to save screen space.

Hey Dom, I just got word from my SA yesterday that our car was loaded onto a ship at Emden departing 12/27/19 with an ETA in San Diego of 1/29/20. From the VW Export Schedule it looks like there are about twice as many ships going to the US East Coast as to the West Coast. Hopefully your car will get loaded on a ship more quickly than ours did.
