We do have an installer in the area, he is not listed on our XPEL Locator yet, if you PM us your email, we can send you our distributor information which can get you in touch with a local installer there.

Hello everybody
New to the forum. I ordered my 991.2S.
My ED trip will be limited in length (at best 7 days).
To get a clear bra installed (hood, front fascia, fenders), can that be done in one business day?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Typically, yes. If you drop the vehicle off in the morning they should be able to return to at the end of business that day. The installation may be done earlier, but an installer will typically want the vehicle for a few hours to address any install / film issues once everything has been installed.

Ok I booked an appointment with these guys
http://www.creasigns.de/
They wanted more time but I'm only giving them a half day and early morning to put as much on the front of the car as they can. Delivery is at 11am and will drop off the car immediately afterwards. Had to send them a wire deposit for the material and to hold the date.
Will let everyone know how it goes!

Has anyone tested whether US import/vehicle preparation center removes the clear bra before re-delivery?
When I did ED on a BMW, I covered the car myself with clear film and removed it when dropping off at port. I then had it professionally installed when it reached the US.
The install wasn't pretty (the Polizei examining the car at the border laughed), but it worked to protect the paint and only took a couple of hours in the hotel parking lot with scraps that my installer gifted to me.

Congrats! So am I. Will try to do N-ring and Spa track days. And of course some driving in the alps. Not doing clear bra in Europe - will sort it out once it gets to Canada. I did not get a single chip when I did ED for my BMW with 2500 miles of driving. Somehow there is no debris on the road. No potholes either. Very strange.

Looks like there are a few of us picking up that week. I'm scheduled to pick-up on June 27 and just finished booking my flights.
Maybe we should have a get together in Leipzig?
I'm still planning my trip, but will likely head south to Munich, then Austria, Switzerland, then back to Stuttgart.

I do not have things planned out yet - did not even start, actually. I was hoping to do mostly track days, but there are none for a while after my pick up date. So I was thinking about going to Goodwood Festival of Speed for July 1-2, but it's an 11+ hour trip from Leipzig, so I'm not sure.

On the paint protection install - I *think* I have the guys at Leipzig working with a shop prior to delivery - so on my delivery day, it'll already be installed. This seems like a good approach. Any others do that?
