VGM911 -- looks like a very nice group shaping up - I'm not sure how much bigger you'd want it at this point purely from a perspective of managing the caravan. Your plan your call!
Might also want to start considering some dates. Keep in mind April 22 is the big Hershey Porsche swap meet which many of us plan to attend.
Looking forward to this ride!

The date for the 2017 Spring Fling has been set, and it's:
Saturday, May 20th
The rain date is Sunday, May 21st.
Although details are still being finalized, we will likely assemble at 7:30 a.m. in Washington Crossing, PA and depart at 8:00 a.m. We are planning to have breakfast at the conclusion of the drive.
Spiderv6 and I ran the route yesterday, and participants will be seeing some breathtaking scenery! He and I will each have a navigator on the day of the drive, and could use one more volunteer who will have a navigator who can serve as a group leader who is familiar with upper Bucks County.
Now that we know when the event will be held, please confirm:
1) your attendance;
2) whether you'll have a passenger; and
3) if you intend to stay for breakfast so that we best determine our parking requirements at the restaurant.
It may be necessary to limit the number of cars participating (when you see the roads we'll be on, you'll understand why), so if you want to be included, confirm early.
One last item: Thanks to spiderv6 for helping me plan this event!

2017 Spring Fling
2017 Spring Fling - May 20th
Pennsylvania has 219 covered bridges (more than any other state), and Bucks County has 12 of them (more than any other county in Pennsylvania). I envision a small group of Porsches making a trip to Bucks County to visit several of these 19th century bridges, leaving from historic Washington Crossing State Park, PA. Although preference will be given to Porsches for this one, if space is available, there may be room for other marques as well; however, the goal is to keep the group small and manageable in size.
1. VGM911 (Porsche Boxster)
2. jsalah (Porsche 911 4S Cabriolet)
3. spiderv6 (Porsche 911 4S)

Oh so sad for me. I have an all-day meeting on 5/20.
Very sad to miss this... I'll let my Turbo S friend know anyway, and keep monitoring this thread in case anything changes in my schedule or yours.
Huge bummer for me :-(
Have a great time all. Should be tons of fun.
EDIT: what time do you think you'll be done? (Or arrive at bfast destination?)
(Wondering if I can push my meeting to a later start...)

Still working out the details but probably we would be in Frenchtown NJ after about 90 mins of curves, hills and bridges (and a 20m stop for pictures). After that approx 30m faster run back to the starting point for breakfast.

Alright if I've done the math right that's about 3 hours, give or take, so assuming an 8 am departure (post said 7:30 but I'm leaving a little time cushion), we're talking breakfast by around 11:00ish...
