Exactly the thread I was looking for!
I'll be moving back to Philadelphia this summer to start a job in University City. Until we get a better sense of where we want to live permanently, we're looking for a place to rent. Does anyone have suggestions where I could live/rent in center city with easy access to University City that also has some covered garage parking?
Finally, any particular dealers/service spots to avoid/use?

We rented about 18 months at 1930 Chestnut. Great staff. Super location. And there's a parking lot adjacent to the building. They can do rent durations as short as 6 months and are a pleasure to work with.
I'll PM some additional info.

I'm sorry I missed it... Bug going around the house and none of us were up to it.
I'd suggest a separate thread for this, but in the meantime, check out "Naval Square" near South Street/Gray's Ferry. Beautiful community. I started out there when I first moved here 10 years ago, owned 2 units there and rented them both when I moved away (have since sold but there are always other rentals...) It worked well for us as I worked in downtown Philly and my wife worked at Penn. Good luck!

Weather was a bit crisp, but nice. As for attendance, I've never seen so many Porsches at one of these West Chester C&Cs. I'm thinking that maybe one of the nearby Porsche Club regions (Delaware Region, perhaps?) made this a club event, which would account for the large number of Porsches - and I'm just realizing that I didn't bother to look at any of the license plates.
