Default Recommendation for paint protection film installer in MA/RI

Hello all,

Does anybody here have a recommendation for a paint protection film installer in the MA/RI/greater Boston area?

I'm interested in getting the front bumper, fenders and hood covered on my new GT4, but I've not had experience using this product before. I'm very picky, and don't like visible lines from the film, so I'll do full panels vs partials etc.

Suntek, Xpel and Premium Shield seem to be the most common products here, and all have a top coated, self-healing film.

I've been quoted around $1500 on the low side, to over $2500 on the high side for the same job.

Thanks!

Unique Car Care in Stoneham, MA. They have been rated as one of the top 10 car detail shops in the US. They use top quality products and more importantly they have great installers. You can't have great product and bad installers or vice versa. Both must be top notch or it will look like crap. I had them clear bra my 981 Cayman S and they did an amazing job. I had the full hood, fenders, bumper, front spoiler, mirrors, side rocker panels and up to the body cut near the side air intakes and behind the rear wheels. Ask for Rick (781) 389-3913 ...he's the owner and a great guy. I've seen a lot of clear bra installs over the years and I just don't think they have any competition. It's probably easy to find some one cheaper...but it will be tough to find anyone who does it better.

Also, friends who have used them for their Ferrari, M5, and 991 Turbo S were all thrilled with Unique's work.

Best regards, and congrats on the GT4.

Thanks Dino!
I'll give Rick a call and see what they can do for me.

My car will be getting a full front wrap, rockers and rear vents with Rick this week. I'll let you know how it turns out!

I'm sure it will come out looking great. I was at a PCA event over the weekend and chatted with a few owners and saw their cars, which had full wraps done by Rick's shop and they looked fantastic. Wishing you luck and hope you will be as happy as I am with the clear bra on my car.

Rick and his crew did an awesome job on my car!
The results are outstanding!

In addition to the Xpel, I also had the windows tinted with Llumar CTX (ceramic film) 35%.
Unfortunately I didn't get chance to take pictures yet.

Thanks again for the recommendation Dino!

Here are some pictures of the finished car. It's hard to see the Xpel, partly because there are very few visible seams
I also took a couple pics to show off the tint.

Cut outs around GT4 logo on rear intake

Small strip on rear wheel arch

Xpel on headlights. Hopefully I won't live to regret this!

Full front bumper with wrapped edges

Close up of front bumper

Wrapped edges on hood and fenders

Mirrors

Sexy looking!

Close up of tint. Front is untinted, sides and rear are Llumar CTX at 35%

A great Cayman GT4 only deserves the investment in the best protection by the best guys around. Wise choice and good council from Dino. Now get yourself a bottle of CarPro Reload and apply to that beautiful GT4!
