Used to live there. PO of my car used German Auto Repair. I had them do the PPI, oil changes, tires, alignment. Nothing but good experiences. I see that Yelp reviews are hot and cold as they tend to be.

Get in touch with the local PCA chapter and get references from them. Also go by the shops in your area and get your own sense of what is going on in them. Talk to the owner and the wrenches and see what you gut feelings tell you about them.
